Psychotherapy is the treatment of conditions or a guided help to self-development through dialogue. There are many different theories and methods within this field. I have trained in psychodynamic and cognitive behavior therapy as well as in NARM. It is important to me to suit the method to the person and the topic.
The challenges people experience differ greatly. It can be specific conditions such as anxiety, depression or stress. It may be that something traumatic has occurred. Maybe there are challenges in relationships or in the family.
However, it can also be a wish to develop as a person; to let go of old patterns. No matter what the theme or issue, through the joint exploration, new possibilities will present themselves and things may start to change.
